South Africa Explorer Review

I have to admit, we also used the cling to the stereotype that surrounded Marloth Park in the Kruger National Park. But that has all changed since we stayed at Royale Marlothi, and experienced the Marloth Park charm.

Our chalet was stunningly decorated, and the other facilities at the lodge really made our stay worthwhile. From our private viewing deck, the resident Marloth Park warthogs greeted us in the mornings, and we where able to feed them with the pellets provided by Royale Marlothi. The evenings was a tranquil cacophony of crickets, night birds, and roaring lions.

Marloth Park has much to offer visitors looking for a relaxed, bush weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Although there aren't any really big shops located close-by, Marloth Park does have the obligatory restaurants, pubs and bars (with big screen TVs for sports events!), liquor shop, petrol garage, and small convenience stores. So, unless you really have a huge emergency, you won't need to leave Marloth Park.

If you do wish to experience the surrounding areas however, the Panaroma Route is a few hours drive away.

Marloth Park and Royale Marlothi is a break-away I would recommend to every lover of the bush.
