The Planetarium is a celestial theatre in the round, utilizing a complex Minolta star machine and multiple projectors to transport the audience through the wonders of the Universe.

Review of the Iziko Planetarium

This was a great experience. The Planetarium has seating for a huge audience, and the chairs tips backward so that you can get a great view of the projected night sky on the domed roof of the planetarium. A star map is given to visitors before the show, and you can use the map to find the constellations that you have learnt about at home.
